Jamie Hyneman
 

CEO and founder

Jamie Hyneman comes from Indiana Farm country, has a degree in Russian languages and Literature and ran a sailing - diving charter business in the Caribbean for several years before he started working in Special Effects. He was the manager of the Colossal model shop before he and Jon formed M5i.

Jamie has designed the spiders from Arachnaphobia, rigged the Mugwumps from Naked Lunch and overseen the design and construction of Lil Penny. Jamie attaches motors to anything he can get his hands on.
